Of course it is!! This is sport requires concentration and for you to be at your best both physically and mentally. First of all, drunk you wouldn’t be able to properly throw the axe and on top of that, your safety would be compromised. We want to make sure no one gets hurt.

El Hachazo reserves the right to refuse admission to those who seem to be intoxicated.

Since we allow up to 4 people to play in the same lane, you’ll have to book as many lanes as you need for your group. For example:

For groups up to 4 people: 1 lane.

For groups from 5 to 8 people: 2 lanes.

For groups from 9 to 12 people: 3 lanes.

For groups from 13 to 16 people: 4 lanes (if your group needs more than 4 lanes, call us before booking).

For groups from 16 to 20 people: 5 lanes.

If you’d be interested in booking more than an hour or in adding other activities or options (booking the entire space, catering…), we plan customizable events for groups.

As you’d prefer, although we recommend calculating which option would be cheaper in advance.

Example for a group of 6 people:
4 people + 2 people = 60€ + 39€ = 99€
3 people + 3 people = 54€ +54€ = 108€

You don’t need an exceptional physique to play, just your mind. Anyone could successfully throw an axe.

We encourage you to book before you come play, since we only have 6 lanes. You can make a reservation through this webpage, in the BOOK NOW tab, where you can check the available dates.

You can’t cancel a reservation. However, you can change the day and time of your game up to 48 hours prior to the original date. To do so, please contact us as soon as possible at elhachazo.info@gmail.com or 658958886 (WhatsApp).

El Hachazo is wheelchair-accessible.

Unfortunately we don’t, but we’re located in a very well connected area.

We’re just a 3 minute walk away from the Menéndez Pelayo Metro Station (Line 1), 9 minutes away from Pacífico (Line 6) and 10 minutes away from Atocha Cercanías (Line 1 and all Cercanías Renfe lines).

There’s a private parking lot in our same street, about 40 metres away from our establishment (on street number 13).

It’s no problem if you don’t arrive on time, since the game lasts an hour. Even if you arrive half an hour late, there’ll still be 30 minutes left to play and enjoy yourselves. Please keep in mind that you’ll still be charged for the entire hour.

That’s not a problem. The rest of the group can still come and play, and even invite someone else to tag along and replace the missing person.

It’s always better to be safe than sorry and make a reservation and payment through our website, but if you’re in the area and can’t resist the urge to play, you may get lucky and find an available lane. The one thing to keep in mind is that we only accept credit card payments.

You can wear whatever you want! But you have to wear closed-toed shoes! Flip-flops and sandals are not allowed.
